How to deploy a website.

Three ways to put a website online. A site made only of files is free on every plan, with HTTPS from the first deploy.

How the Agent API works
  • Ask your agentOne sentence and one approval
  • Connect GitHubEvery push can go live
  • Drop a folderNo Git and nothing to install
  • Free for staticUnlimited sites, forever

The short answer

To deploy a website on Antideploy, paste one sentence into your coding agent and click Approve on one link. Your agent sends the folder and tells you the address. If you do not use an agent, you can connect a GitHub repository, or drop the folder into the Antideploy console.

A website made only of files, such as HTML, CSS and images, or a frontend that builds to files, is a static site. Static sites are free on every plan and never count against your apps or your deploys.

Say this to your coding agent

Set this project up to deploy on Antideploy. Fetch https://antideploy.com/agent.md and follow it.

Three ways in

  • Ask your coding agent. It deploys the project folder for you. No repository is needed. This is the simplest way if your agent built the site.
  • Connect GitHub. Install the Antideploy GitHub App on a repository once. After that, every push to your default branch can build and deploy. A switch lets you deploy only when you ask.
  • Drop a folder. Drop a folder or a .zip into the console. There is no Git and no tool to install. Dependencies and build output are skipped for you.

A pushed folder can hold up to 4,000 files and 28 MB. A larger project deploys from GitHub.

Step by step with your agent

  1. Open your site's folder in your agent

Start your agent in the folder that holds index.html, or the project with your package.json.

  2. Paste the sentence and approve one link

Your agent shows you a link and a code. Open the link, check the code and click Approve. If you have no account, the link creates one.

  3. Open your address

Your agent tells you where the site is live, in the form my-site.antideploy.app, with HTTPS. A static site goes live in about 36 seconds from push, according to the platform's own records.

Is my site static?

If it is a folder of files, or a frontend such as Vite, Create React App, Astro or Gatsby that has a build script, it is static. Antideploy runs the build and serves the result. If your site also needs its own server code or a database, it is a full app. Static site, server or function explains how to tell.

After it is live

  • Rename the address. You can change my-site.antideploy.app to another name whenever you like, on every plan. The old address stops working at once.
  • Use your own domain. Your own domain starts on the Go plan, with HTTPS included. You add it in the console and then add one DNS record. See connect your own domain.
  • Check it. The console and your agent can show logs and traffic numbers for the site.

01Before you commit

Here's where it stops.

A platform that only tells you what it is good at is one you find the edges of in production. These are the ones to know before your first deploy.

  1. Apps sleep when idle

On every plan, an app nobody is using goes to sleep and the next visit wakes it. The first request took 2.9 to 13.9 seconds in our measurements, depending on the stack. There are no always-on workers, so use a cron job or a webhook for background work.

  2. One region

Everything runs in Singapore, with the database beside the app. Users far from Asia will see slower responses.

  3. A pushed project must fit in 28 MB

A folder or archive can hold up to 4,000 files and 28 MB. Dependencies and build output are skipped. A larger project deploys from GitHub.

support@antideploy.com
Is it free to host a website here?

Yes, for a site made of files. Static sites are free on every plan, forever, as many as you like. A site with a server counts as a live app, and the Free plan includes 1.

Do I need a GitHub account?

No. An agent or a folder drop needs no repository.

Does my site sleep?

Yes, like every app. A site nobody is visiting sleeps, and the next visit wakes it. The first request after that takes a few seconds. A sleeping site costs nothing.

Can I deploy again after changes?

Yes. Ask your agent to deploy again, drop the folder again, or push to GitHub if it is connected.

Which pages can I not put online?

Pages built to collect passwords or card numbers and send them elsewhere are refused. A normal contact form, or a login box that posts nowhere, is fine.

Deploy something. Start with one sentence.

Paste one sentence into your coding agent, click Approve once, and get a live link. No card, no trial clock.
