PlatformCustom domains
Your own domain, with HTTPS included.
Point your domain at your app with one DNS record. The certificate is issued automatically, usually within two minutes of the record going live, and nothing is served from your domain until it is.
- One CNAME recordPoint your domain at cname.antideploy.com, nothing else to add
- HTTPS includedThe certificate is issued automatically, usually within two minutes
- From the Go plan3 domains on Go, and unlimited on Pro and Scale
- Free can still renameEvery plan can rename its Antideploy address, as often as it likes
01How it works
Add the domain. Add one record.
You attach the domain in the console, and it shows you exactly which record to add where your domain is managed.
One record, at your registrar.
Open your application in the console, go to its Domains tab and enter the name you want. Antideploy shows the record to add. A registrar asks for the subdomain part, not the whole name, and getting that wrong is the most common reason a domain waits, so both are shown.
- The domain waits as Waiting for DNS until the record is seen, then reads Live
- The certificate is issued automatically, usually within two minutes of the record going live
- Nothing is served from the domain until the certificate exists
# add this record where verdant.in is managed
Type CNAME
Name www
Points to cname.antideploy.com
A bare domain, or www.
For a root domain such as verdant.in, some registrars call the record ALIAS or ANAME rather than CNAME, and a few cannot do it at all. In that case use a subdomain such as www.verdant.in instead, which works everywhere.
- Each domain you attach counts toward your plan's allowance, across all your apps
- If your app uses Antideploy sign-in, the domain is registered as a trusted origin for you
- Your Antideploy address can still be renamed whenever you like
verdant.in Live
www.verdant.in Waiting for DNS
02What you get
Your name, on your app.
A domain is the moment a project stops being a demo. Your own name, over HTTPS, with no certificate for you to set up.
-
Any domain you control. Attach a root domain or any subdomain of a domain you own. The address you are given stays, and you can still rename it, so you are never stuck with a name you do not like.
-
HTTPS from the first request. Nothing is served from your domain until a certificate has been issued for it. A certificate is only issued once the record really points here, so nobody can attach a domain they do not control.
-
Counted per account. Go includes 3 domains across all your apps. Pro and Scale include as many as you need, with HTTPS on all of them.
-
Sign-in follows. If your app uses Antideploy sign-in, a custom domain is registered as a trusted origin automatically, when it is attached.
-
Rename the free address any time. Free accounts cannot attach a domain, but they can rename
name.antideploy.appas often as they like. The old address stops working at once. -
Added in your browser. Attaching a domain is an action in the console, on the application's Domains tab, so a coding agent cannot attach one by itself.
03Limits by plan
Domains, by plan.
Counted across your whole account, and always with HTTPS.

05Before you commit
Here's where it stops.
A platform that only tells you what it is good at is one you find the edges of in production. These are custom domains'.
-
Added in the console
Your agent cannot attach a domain. You add it on the application's Domains tab, then put the record at your registrar.
-
Root domains depend on your registrar
A root domain needs an ALIAS, ANAME or flattened CNAME record, and a few registrars cannot do it. Use www in that case.
-
DNS takes the time it takes
The certificate is issued only after the record is visible. That is usually within two minutes, but it depends on your registrar.
-
None on Free
Free accounts use an Antideploy address, which they can rename. Your own domain starts on Go.

Domain questions, answered.
Anything else? Write to us and a person answers.
support@antideploy.comWhich plans include custom domains?
Go includes 3, counted across your account, and Pro and Scale include as many as you need. HTTPS is included on all of them. Free accounts get an Antideploy address instead, which they can rename as often as they like.
What DNS record do I add?
A CNAME record. The name is the subdomain part only, for example www, and it points to cname.antideploy.com. The console shows both values for your domain.
How long until it works?
The certificate is issued automatically, usually within two minutes of the record going live. How quickly the record itself becomes visible depends on your registrar.
Do I pay extra for HTTPS?
No. HTTPS is included on every domain, and the certificate is issued and renewed for you.
Can I use the bare domain, like verdant.in?
Sometimes. A root domain needs an ALIAS, ANAME or flattened CNAME record, and a few registrars cannot create one. If yours cannot, use a subdomain such as www.
Can my coding agent add the domain?
No. Attaching a domain is done in your browser, on the application's Domains tab. Your agent can still deploy the app it points to.
Why is my domain still waiting for DNS?
Check the record. The name must be the subdomain part only, and it must point to cname.antideploy.com. A domain that does not resolve at all usually means a typo in the name.
Does sign-in work on my own domain?
Yes. If your app uses Antideploy sign-in, your custom domain is registered as a trusted origin automatically when you attach it.
Can I still rename my Antideploy address?
Yes, on every plan. The old address stops working at once, so update any links first.
