The short answer
To connect your own domain, open your app in the Antideploy console, go to its Domains tab and enter the name. Antideploy shows the DNS record to add. Add a CNAME record at your registrar that points to cname.antideploy.com. The certificate is issued automatically, usually within two minutes of the record going live. Your own domain starts on the Go plan.
Step by step
-
Add the domain in the console
Open the application, go to its Domains tab and enter the name you want. Your agent cannot do this step, because attaching a domain is an action you take in your browser.
-
Add one record at your registrar
Antideploy shows the record. The fields are the same for every domain.
Type CNAME Name www Points to cname.antideploy.comA registrar asks for the subdomain part only, not the whole name. For
www.verdant.in, enterwww. For a root domain, enter@. Getting this wrong is the most common reason a domain waits. -
Wait for it to go live
The domain shows Waiting for DNS until the record is seen, then it reads Live. Nothing is served from the domain until the certificate exists.
A bare domain or www
For a root domain such as verdant.in, some registrars call the record ALIAS or ANAME instead of CNAME, and a few cannot do it at all. If yours cannot, use a subdomain such as www.verdant.in, which works everywhere.
What it costs
- Free: no custom domain. You get an address ending in
.antideploy.app, which you can rename as often as you like - Go: 3 custom domains, counted across your account
- Pro and Scale: as many as you need
- HTTPS is included on every domain, with the certificate issued and renewed for you
Sign-in follows your domain
If your app uses Antideploy sign-in, your custom domain is registered as a trusted origin automatically when you attach it. Your Antideploy address can still be renamed whenever you like, and the old address stops working at once, so update any links first.
