What it means
Before it builds, the builder looks for a file that names your language: package.json for Node.js, requirements.txt or pyproject.toml for Python, go.mod for Go, Gemfile for Ruby, pom.xml or build.gradle for Java. It found none at the root of what was sent, so it cannot choose how to build.
How to fix it
-
Check what you sent
Is the project inside another folder? A common cause is sending the parent folder, so
package.jsonsits one level down. -
Send the right folder, or set the root folder
Deploy from the folder that holds the manifest. If your repository holds several projects, choose the folder to build, and Antideploy builds it as if it were the whole project.
-
Or add a Dockerfile
A Dockerfile at the root tells the builder how to build any project. See how to deploy with your own Dockerfile.
