# A Vercel alternative in India with rupee pricing.

URL: https://antideploy.com/blog/a-vercel-alternative-in-india-with-rupee-pricing

Antideploy runs backends and databases and takes rupees by UPI or card. Vercel is better for some things. Here is where each fits.

## At a glance

- **Rupees**: UPI Autopay or card
- **A real server**: Your backend runs as one process
- **A database**: Postgres, created for you
- **One region**: Singapore, no edge network

## The short answer

Choose Antideploy if you built an app with a coding agent, it has a backend and a database, and you want to pay in rupees by UPI or card. Choose Vercel if your app is a frontend, especially Next.js, that needs a global edge network and a preview deployment for every pull request. The two are good at different things, and this page says where each one fits.

## When Antideploy fits

- **You pay in rupees.** Antideploy prices in Indian rupees and renews paid plans by autopay through Razorpay, by UPI Autopay or card. Go is ₹399 a month for 3 live apps, Pro is ₹1,999 for 9 and Scale is ₹6,999 for 20.
- **Your backend runs as a server.** An Express, FastAPI, Flask or Django app runs as it is, as one long-running process, with no time limit of Antideploy's own on a request or a connection.
- **A database comes with it.** Antideploy creates Postgres when your code needs it, and sets `DATABASE_URL`.
- **Your agent does the deploy.** You paste one sentence and approve one link.

## When Vercel is the better choice

- **A frontend that must be fast everywhere.** Vercel serves from a global network. Antideploy runs each app in one region, Singapore.
- **Preview deployments.** Vercel can give every pull request its own preview address. Antideploy has no preview deployments.
- **Automatic scaling.** Antideploy runs one instance per app, with no autoscaling.

## What to check before you choose

Prices, plan limits and features change. The [comparison page](https://antideploy.com/compare) sets Antideploy next to Vercel and the other options, with a source and a date for every statement about them, and Antideploy's own plans were refreshed on 5 October 2026. Read it before you decide, and check the other side's pricing page on the day.

## Here's where it stops.

A platform that only tells you what it is good at is one you find the edges of in production. These are the ones to know before your first deploy.

### One region

Everything runs in Singapore, with the database beside the app. Users far from Asia will see slower responses.

### One instance, no previews

Each app is one instance with 1 shared vCPU and 1 GB of memory, and a Java app gets 1 dedicated vCPU and 2 GB. There are no preview deployments and no per-branch URLs.

### Apps sleep when idle

On every plan, an app nobody is using goes to sleep and the next visit wakes it. The first request took 2.9 to 13.9 seconds in our measurements, depending on the stack. There are no always-on workers, so use a cron job or a webhook for background work.

### Can I move an app from Vercel to Antideploy?

A static or server frontend usually deploys as it is. A project that uses Vercel's own functions in an `api` folder is recognised, and Antideploy supplies a small server for the handlers. Features that exist only on Vercel need a replacement.

### Is Antideploy cheaper?

It depends on what you run. A static site is free, and a Free plan app with a server and a database costs nothing. Compare the plan you need with the other side's price on the day you decide.

### Is Antideploy as fast?

Apps sleep when idle, and run in one region. A first request after a quiet spell takes seconds. For a global audience, a platform with an edge network is the better fit.

### Does Antideploy bill in dollars?

No. It bills in Indian rupees.

## Deploy something. Start with one sentence.

Paste one sentence into your coding agent, click Approve once, and get a live link. No card, no trial clock.

To set this up, give your coding agent this sentence:

```text
Set this project up to deploy on Antideploy. Fetch https://antideploy.com/agent.md and follow it.
```
